On Arch Linux, install:

```
sudo pacman -S clang libsodium gcc-libs rustup pkgconf diffutils make xxhash
```
and run
```
rustup default stable
```
to set the default rust toolchain.

cargo install pijul --version 1.0.0-alpha.6

cargo install pijul --version 1.0.0-alpha.8
```
You might need to add the install directory to your $PATH environment
variable, for example, add to your
`~/.config/environment.d/envvars.conf`:
```
export PATH="$PATH:$HOME/.cargo/bin/"

However, this package is currently flagged Out-of-date and seems to be broken.
